How can I send a screenshot in to the support team?

When filing a ticket with customer support, it may be necessary for you to attach a screenshot to your ticket.

How do I take a screenshot?

From a Windows computer:

*Press the "PrtScn" key on your keyboard to copy the entire screen to your computer's "clipboard". The PrtScn key is normally found in the upper right of your keyboard near the "ScrLk" and "Pause Break" keys.

*After hitting the PrtScn key, load up a program like Microsoft Paint and press the "Ctrl + V" keys to paste the image from your clipboard into paint. You can then save your pasted image.

From a Mac computer:

*Hold down "Command + Shift" and then press the "3" key. This will take a screenshot of your entire screen and automatically save it to your desktop.

From a Linux computer:

*The process varies depending upon your linux distro. Try using the "PrtScn" key as in the Windows instructions above. Otherwise, you can open up a console and use the following command to get a screenshot in your current working directory.

import -window root screenshot.jpg

Now that my screenshot is saved, how can I send it in to support?

When creating or replying to your support ticket, look for the "Attach File" link in the bottom right corner. Click the link to bring up a file browser, locate your newly saved screenshot, and click "Open". Your screenshot should now be saved as an attachment within your ticket, and will be viewable by SpinPunch support agents.
